Alongside the founding partners, Jornadas works with a network of partner specialists across 12 fields of knowledge.

How the network works

Careful selection and direct coordination

Specialists are chosen for their professional experience, academic background, the concrete results they have achieved and their alignment with Jornadas’ values and principles.

For each project, the founding partners define the profiles needed, coordinate the team and answer for the technical quality of the work, under confidentiality commitments set out in the contract.

    Disaster Law

    Legal frameworks, civil liability, risk governance and preparedness for emergencies and complex disasters.

  2. Field 02

    Business and human rights

    Applying the UN Guiding Principles, due diligence across supply chains and prevention of abuses.

  3. Field 03

    Indigenous peoples and traditional communities

    Listening and participation, respect for communities’ own consultation protocols and for ILO Convention 169, ratified by Brazil in 2002.

  4. Field 04

    Decent work and value chains

    Verification of working conditions, applicable Brazilian regulatory standards (such as NR-18 and NR-24) and operational safeguards.

  5. Field 05

    Children’s rights

    Applying the Children’s Rights and Business Principles (UNICEF, UN Global Compact and Save the Children) to projects and value chains.

  6. Field 06

    Diversity, equity and inclusion

    Preventing and addressing violence and harassment at work, drawing on references such as ILO Convention 190.

  7. Field 07

    Risk management and resilience

    Vulnerability mapping and disaster governance aligned with the Sendai Framework and Brazilian civil protection law.

    Reparation and remedy

    Governance of reparation, compensation methodologies, guarantees of non-repetition and technical transparency.

    Social participation and territories

    Planning and facilitating listening and territorial engagement processes, with structured and transparent dialogue.

    Responsible corporate communication, team training and human rights literacy.

    Research, data and evidence

    Specialized research, technical opinions and applied studies in human rights and disaster management.

    Governance, ESG and due diligence

    Policies, advisory to committees, due diligence workflows and monitoring of EU regulation (CSDDD).
