Christiana Galvão Ferreira de Freitas

Human rights · Disaster risk management · Public policy

Lawyer and sociologist working on human rights, disaster risk management and public policy.

She was Director for the Promotion of Human Rights at the Special Secretariat for Human Rights of the Presidency of Brazil (2015) and Human Rights Manager at the Renova Foundation (2017 to 2025), in the reparation of the Rio Doce basin. She served as an international consultant for the Organization of Ibero-American States (OEI), for Brazil’s Ministry of Women, Racial Equality, Youth and Human Rights, and for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) on human rights.

She holds a PhD in Law from the University of Brasília, with a dissertation on disaster risk management and disaster law, including a doctoral research period at the University of Bremen, Germany.

Ronaldo Felício Moysés Filho

Lawyer with a career in executive management, governance, socioeconomic reparation and institutional relations.

He was Manager of the Mediated Indemnification Program (PIM) and the Emergency Financial Aid Program (AFE) at the Renova Foundation (2019 to 2025), in the reparation of the Rio Doce basin, working with affected communities, public bodies, the justice system and collegiate governance bodies.
